Communal facilities include large furnished Common Rooms; a Guest Room for overnight stays by relatives and friends and a Laundry Room equipped with washing machines and dryer in Thornton Lodge and Wilberforce House. All the houses are set in attractive well - maintained gardens.

The Association qualifies for an annual communal TV License, the cost of which is borne by the Association and is therefore free to Residents who have retired. All floors in all three Houses are served by a lift.

We have a 24 Community Alarm system as well as Resident Wardens who are responsible for the general day to day control and supervision of the Houses and provide support and advice to residents but do not provide individual or personal care.

When the Wardens are off duty emergency cover is provided by Mascot Telecare Services.

Rents and Service Charges

Rents for tenants moving in between May 1st 2009 – 30th April 2010 are £408.86 per calendar month (£94.35 per week) for a standard studio flat and £477.58 per calendar month (£110.21 per week) for a one bedroom flat for couples. These figures include all Service Charges, the Supporting People Charge, central heating in the winter months and the water charge.
